Great formula, Great prices on Amazon Sep 26, 2010
By JTW Similac adv RTF works great for my daughter! I opted not to breastfeed, so she's been on this formula since birth and is now 3 months. She has not gotten sick yet, and is growing and reaching all of her milestones beautifully. We use the RTF formula because we find it more convenient to prepare. And though it may just be a mental thing, I feel like it's better for her tummy than mixing the powder and water myself. If you do Subscribe and Save and get the 6-packs of this Similac delivered to you monthly it comes out cheaper than getting it at walmart (about 45 cents cheaper per quart!). Also check out diapers on Amazon: with subscribe and save and amazon mom discounts, you get 30% off the big packs of huggies diapers. At walmart, a pack of 92 is $20. Buying in bulk and with the 30% off, I geta box of 160 size 1s delivered to my house for less than $24!

Good For Babies Not Wanting Formula May 11, 2009
By J. Perry
"Big Joe"
We tried feeding our baby Enfamil when he first switched to formula, but he hated the taste and refused it. Our friend told us that Similac was the best formula that compared to the taste of breastmilk. She actually bought various formulas and did a taste test. Our baby loves this formula and is thriving on it. Some people have said the powder is hard to mix, but we have not had any problems. We have found that room temp bottled water mixes the best.

Expensive but easy Aug 16, 2009
By JMW I use this to feed my daughter. Its expensive, but I don't have to worry about mixing or finding water that I want to use. I also looked on some sites ([....]) and it says this doesn't contain BPA (in the packaging). Most other formulas do.

Safer and Easier for Baby Nov 17, 2010
By StarLight I have been using this product since receiving the 2-oz bottles from the hospital. My baby took to it well and I did not want to switch formula brands any reason. I considered switching to the powder version of this product, but after trying it for one day, we saw the difference; my baby was suddenly very gassy and fussy, which is very unlike him. We decided to switch back to this product and I'm very glad that we did. This liquid formula was NOT affected by the Similac recall, so I felt more safe and relieved when hearing about it. "No Abbott liquid infant formulas are impacted. Products not involved in the recall include all Abbott Nutrition liquid ready-to-feed and concentrated infant formulas and all powder and liquid specialty formulas". Read more about the recall on the similac website and feel confident about the formula you choose to buy for your baby. Hope this helps!

Similac Advance Liquid Formula Dec 09, 2010
By TW My son is 10 months now and has been on this formula since I stopped breastfeeding him when he was 4 months. We have never had any issues with this formula. He has never had an upset stomach or has ever been fussy while on this formula. When I stopped breastfeeding him he transitioned very well. Every baby is different and formulas work different on every one, that is why there is so many choices, but we got lucky with our first choice of formula. I did try to switch him to the powdered formula but he absolutely hated it. It was the same type just powdered so I don't really know why he didnt like it. It was ok though we just kept him on the premade liquid. Luckily we didnt start him on the powdered because there ended up being a recall so we got lucky there too.
