Works just fine Aug 28, 2005
By luvreadn After purchasing the Dora soft potty seat and tossing it out for safety reasons, I bought this one for my kid and I love it. The bonus is that you can take it EVERYWHERE. Easy to clean, easy to put away. A good purchase.

great potty seat for when your on the go... Aug 19, 2005
By Allison Nguyen

I bought the potty seat for use on public bathrooms. It's very portable and my daughter loves her Elmo seat. It folds up nice and has a plastic bag for storage. She weighs 26 pounds and I have had no problems with it falling in or folding on her so I am not sure what the other lady is talking about. Great product.

My poor son fell in!!! Feb 06, 2006
By W. Durika

My son can stand to pee when we are out (he's only 2.5 but he's tall) but he had to poop yesterday while we were out. So I ran to the car thinking that this seat that I had bought would "save the day" and his pants! I got back to him and my husband and quickly got him to the bathroom. I whip this out so happy that I had bought it, and I placed it on the toilet. My son was VERY excited about the characters! It looked like it fit good. So I pick up my son and placed him on it - it held him ok - he's 40lbs - it didn't give too much, or so I thought. My son squirmed a bit - what toddler doesn't, and he FELL IN THE TOILET! This seat and him hit the water! EW!!!! Another reader posted that she wouldn't return because it was a toilet item - well I'm marching right back to the store to return because I won't use it! It's poorly designed and a waste of money - it's going back!
If you already bought this - just keep it home - at least then if your child FALLS IN, you know what has been in your own toilet! Still YUK!

Great for potty training. Mar 10, 2006

This product is wonderful for potty training outside of the house. I was always putting my daughter in pull-ups becuase I was afraid to sit her on a public toilet seat. Now she can use the potty anywhere. I take her wipes and some anitbacterial wipes and her potty seat everywhere with us and potty training has been so much easier now.

Not very strong Mar 09, 2006

I order the Sesame Street Folding Potty for my 20moth old son. We had been potty traning for a few months, when he started to ask to go on the potty when we were out and about, I was so happy with this potty until we started to use it. It is not very strong my son does not feel safe on it( it gives alot) so when I sit him on it the middle of the set drops in not enof for him to fall in but becouse he is only 21 pounds not very big at all, I would think it would hold him. It does fold up nice and is easy to clean how ever I would have loved for it to have come with a carring bag.
