Provides the protection you're looking for Sep 20, 2009

Only problem that keeps this product from being a 5 star item is that you can't pull up the plunger to turn the shower on with this over the spout. It is also very hard to get on and off, so it essentially turns your shower into a bathtub only, unless you want to go through the hassle of removing the cover each time you use the shower.
My daughter still goes nuts for Elmo every time she takes a bath though, so this was completely worth my money.
It protects my daughter, puts a smile on her face, and is inexpensive and easy to install. All of those things add up to a winning product for us!
EDIT (August 7, 2010): After using this product for months I decided to take a pair of scissors and cut along the bottom of this product in order to make it easier to remove from the faucet. Since doing that the product still functions the same and is easily removable when I need it to be!

Works great - but not for a shower Aug 18, 2010

I agree with many of the reviews- it's no good if your diverter is above the spout. However, I don't mean to say you can't use it, like some said. I actually got some really really hot water in the sink, and let it soak. That made the thing soft and pliable enough to stretch OVER the diverter. It now works great and no way can my daughter get it off. However, there is NO hole to pull up the shower diverter. So as long as it's on there, the shower is out of service. Getting it off may be another problem....

A great faucet cover Aug 19, 2009
By KatyDid5429 We have an older bath faucet - kinda skinny and long. This was the first (of five tries) that worked on our faucet - and it seems like it would work on a standard spigot as well.
I like that it is so sturdy, yet would cushion any blow it might get. Our 19-month old sees that it is there, but hasn't yet tried to pull it off or play wit it - another bonus.
Does a great job.

Inexpensive & cute cover Jan 21, 2012
By K. Arnold I was looking for something to replace our Munchkin "Fire Duck" cover...which after a couple years developed mold. I liked this one because it was a good price and didn't seem to have too many crevices where mold could develop. SO far it fit really well and works great.

An excellent tub spout guard Nov 28, 2008
By Rene W. Neville

This is the ONLY tub faucet guard which my grandson could not remove. This is because of the 'pull up' feature on the faucet which directs water to the shower head. This same feature can make the guard difficult to attach, but is worth it to prevent a child from hitting his or her head on the metal faucet.
