Not happy with it at all! Mar 30, 2010
By Elmira Balder I purchased two of these for my two rear windows of my BMW 325i in order to avoid my newborn child's eyes from being exposed to the sun light! I don't like to use suction cups and I liked the fact that this product could hang over the window. First problem, the shades are too small to completely cover the entire window. Sun hits my child's eyes anyway I place it and I obviously can't keep moving it around when driving with every change of the sun beam's direction! Secondly, the material is not heat resistant and after two days of being hung on my window, totally was bent out of shape and wouldn't open and close anymore. Also, my car windows don't close all the way either. In other words, the hanging feature which attracted me to buying this product, is completely useless!!!! In short, the product is poorly engineered and designed to serve the purpose of blocking the sun and hanging over the window!!!

Not the best Jun 21, 2010
By K. Murphy My 21 month old tugged on the shade & it pulled right out of the roller & is unusable now. Prior to that I thought it was fine. I liked that it rolled & that the suction cups stayed in place well. I have a Nissan Altima & it didn't cover the window all that well but it was decent. Mainly, I give it 2 stars b/c it broke so easily. My daughter isn't a super rough child or anything & she still managed to break it fairly easily.

Good enough for me Aug 18, 2011
By EMV2010 I put these up on each back window without cleaning the window or the suction cups. They stuck just fine. I accidentally opened up the windows and the top got a little bent when putting the window back up, but it's no big deal. They do the job. I've had to move the back passenger shade back and forth once for the sun (it was in my daughter's face). I have a Jeep Liberty and though it doesn't cover the entire window, I'm happy with these shades. For the money, they do the trick and they haven't fallen off.

functional but too small Jun 27, 2010

The shades are very easy to install, hassle-free and look nice and clean, but they're also slightly too narrow, even for my small car.

Pretty Decent Mar 15, 2012
By heaya I can't attest to longevity since I have not been using them that long, but so far, in 80 degree weather, they have not melted or had any real issues. I'm actually using them in a car that they don't really fit to code on. I've rigged them to work, my daughter tells me they are blocking the sun sufficiently. I gave a 4 because of the adaptability. If the hinges where you put the suction cups or attach them to your window for rolling up and down were adjustable, I'd give it a five. I think they could make them sliding so you could have more flexibility in where you are placing the suction cups or hinges. Also, please note the picture, if you do put them on the window with the hinges, you are going to have that top half inch exposed and sun will shine through it. I could see that potentially letting sun still glare through on your child/backseat passenger depending on how high up they're seated.
