Wonderful Product!!!! Jan 12, 2009
By KnittingMom8 This bottle warmer works great!! Since we don't have a microwave to heat water quickly, and I got tired of trying to heat bottles in warm water, a bottle warmer seemed to be the best solution.
I choose this brand because I use the Avent bottles and because a local store had it marked down to $24 (I didn't know the original price, and didn't realize what a deal I was getting). I was hoping it would work well, but it has surpassed all my expectations. It heats VERY quickly, even from refrigerator temperature. It's easy to use, clean, and store. Just be sure and follow the instructions. Once it begins to blink, remove the bottle and check the temp. I waited once and the bottle got quite warm. But, everytime I've removed it right away, the temp. has been perfect.
One note on the blinking light. The instructions say when the light blinks, the water has reached the proper temp. Now blinking to me means the light going on and off every few seconds. I guess this is not what blinking means to them. The light will go off, stay off for about 30-60 seconds, and then turn back on for 30-60 seconds. I didn't realize this was "blinking" until I waited through a few cycles and found the bottle very warm. So, I just put it where I can see it and remove the bottle when the light goes off the first time.
Also, as the other reviewer said, there is an on/off switch on the back of the until.
I highly recommend this product!!

Better than the steam-based ones Apr 15, 2009
By B. Porter We use this warmer with the Dr Brown's glass bottles and have been very happy with it. Originally we had the steam-based version from Philips. It worked great as well, but the lid sometimes got in the way, you couldn't always tell how much water was at the bottom, so we dumped and refilled every time.
This warmer just sits there quietly, warms up quickly and you don't have to guess whether the warming is done or not because you can feel the temperature of the milk through the glass in the unsubmerged portion of the bottle. At first we thought it would take much longer than the steam-based version but haven't found that to be the case -- 2-3 minutes is enough.
The one thing we've found is that the bottles warm better the higher the water level, so we fill it to the brim each time. Also, it can be easy to forget this is on and we've found it will start to super-heat the water to a low boil. Left on overnight (we unplug each night) this could be a problem.

works good but I don't get it-no timer May 26, 2009

This bottle warmer has done its job and is awesome compared to running it under hot water (took forever) but it has some weird features. It has 3 settings but for warming anything from 4 oz. bottles to baby food, you use setting 3---don't know why there are even other settings. Also, it needs a timer. They give you specific heating times but there is no timer on the unit. You need to set another timer in order to not overheat the milk.

Amazing!!! Nov 03, 2008
By A. Estes This is a lifesaver!! We love it. It works with all of our other bottles. It is simple, fast, and easy to use. There is a on/off switch on the back regardless of the reviews I just read stating that there is not. One of the best new parent/baby buys I have made!

Love this warmer May 01, 2009

This is a great warmer! We used it primarily to heat breast milk. It's great because you can adjust the heat and it's CONSISTENT. When you first get it, set the dial in the middle, put a bottle of refrigerated milk in it and then keep testing it at 1 minute, 2 minutes, etc. until you know how long it takes at a dial setting to heat the milk to the temperature you want. If you know you want more time to let the bottle heat, turn it down and do the same test. Likewise for less time. We got it so we set the dial at a position and left it for 3-4 minutes and got exactly the temp we wanted. We used it for more than a year and the thing was consistent the whole time. It's espeially great because you can leave a nanny with instructions and feel more at ease that she'll get it right.
