Coordinates well with Ahoy Mate line of products. Apr 10, 2010

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2U5F35U9RZNRH I found this product to be a great companion to the ahoy mate crib set. Would also be good for anyone going for a pirate/boat theme for babys room. I found none of the issues noted in other reviews about mobile hanging up. Works great.

Adorable! Apr 09, 2009
By A. Cat Had I read the other review when my mom called me to say she was going to get this mobile for our son, I would have advised her against it. I am so glad I didn't! After she called to say she was thinking of buying the mobile, I went online to see it. It looked adorable but the review was terrible. As I put it together earlier this week I was worried--I didn't need to be!
The mobile is adorable. The plush toys are sweet and the song is classic. Our son loves it! We have used it every day and haven't had any issues with the toys catching. The larger boat probably would, but we have it in the center so it doesn't move.
Only one warning--make sure you put the sticker on right side up. We didn't, but it worked out. After it was taken off I realized I'd rather not have the brand name front and center anyway.

Don't buy - you will regret it! Jan 12, 2009
By Julia Since Amazon didn't have any reviews on this item, I purchased it without knowing about the poor design and quality. I should have checked the reviews on other sites, like Babies R Us, and that would have prevented my error! The items keep getting caught on the pole during rotation, and there is now way around this problem. Also, the plastic "hangers" from which the items hang are slanted disproportionately from each other. Thinking I might have just gotten a defective item, I purchased the identical product from Babies R Us yesterday, and guess what? Same problem with the rotation. And the other reviews say the same thing. I am returning both pproducts asap to their respective stores.

It works but.. Jun 05, 2011
By David Denovellis For the price I can get something much better.
And the most important thing is that you need vivid color for a newborn.
I would definately not buy this product again

Characters get caught Feb 12, 2011
By Stephanie Murdock It's cute enough, and I guess if you were using it solely for decoration it would be okay. However, I found like the other reviewers that when you turn it on, the characters get stuck on the pole. It is possible to lean it forwards a little bit to keep them from getting caught, but then it's not as secure as I would feel comfortable with. I decided to take it back.
