Toddler - not Baby spoon Mar 07, 2008
By SLC The spoons themself are great - not cheap plastic! However, it would help to know that these are NOT intended for babies...unless your baby has a very wide mouth. I'll be saving mine for when my daughter is a toddler - but for now, I had to re-order the Gerber baby spoons.
Overall - great spoons...I just wanted to let others know that these are for "larger babies" :)

My son is 13 months old and loves this spoon. It is small enough to fit into his hands and holds just enough food to put into his mouth, without spilling over. I would highly recommend this spoon.

Great Toddler Spoons! Jan 31, 2009
By Robby's Mom These spoons are well balanced, nicely shaped, and easy for my 1 year old to use. The white "spoon" part is quite thin, but sturdy, so it is easy for him to stick in his mouth and get all the food. The chubby handles are rubberized and easy to grip, plus the eyes make them cute and fun. The only downside is they are a little expensive, but worth the price I think!

Great, entertaining spoons for babies Aug 11, 2009
By treviza The spoons are cute and very functional. My baby was 6 months old when we started feeding her purees, and this spoon is perfect. It's round and has no edge that could possibly hurt her, even when she's playing instead of eating her food. The tip is made of soft but sturdy plastic and is very gentle on her gums, but not so soft that I would worry her biting into it. Also, the eyes on the spoon proves to be a great entertainment for babies - my daughter would stare at them at times with a funny face. The novelty has since worn off, but she still loves her spoons. And so do I.

By Linda P I purchased these spoons for my granddaughter who at age 12-13 months wanted to feed herself but did not have the dexterity to manage this task. With help to load the spoon, she was able to get it to her mouth without losing the food, big smiles followed. Now at 16 months she can self-feed, which makes her happy and gives Mom a break. Even foods like her breakfast O's and rice can be easily scooped with these well-designed utensils. The handles are slightly textured, rubbery, and thick, perfect for little hands to grip. These are well worth the cost, highly recommended.
